EV Electrical Technician

Role & responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
• Work on bus electrical circuits, batteries, motors, transformers, and control panels.
• Troubleshoot faults using diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, PLC systems).
• Conduct preventive maintenance (insulation resistance tests, thermal imaging, scheduled inspections).
• Ensure compliance with national electrical codes and safety standards.
• Document all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI in Electrical Technology or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory and safety protocols (LOTO procedures).
• Experience with PLCs, SCADA, and renewable energy systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Attention to detail, problemsolving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
