ETP

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for operating and monitoring the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) during assigned shifts to ensure smooth and efficient plant performance.
• Conduct routine laboratory analysis of ETP samples, including COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), pH, TSS, BOD, and other required parameters.
• Maintain and record all ETP operational and laboratory data accurately as per company and statutory requirements.
• Monitor ETP process parameters and take corrective actions to ensure treated water meets regulatory standards.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of ETP equipment, pumps, blowers, dosing systems, and related utilities.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for effective ETP operations and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with GPCB (Gujarat Pollution Control Board) norms and environmental regulations.
• Assist during GPCB audits, inspections, and environmental compliance assessments by providing necessary records and reports.
• Maintain housekeeping, safety, and environmental standards within the ETP area.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and analytical reports.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance ETP efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety guidelines, and environmental management practices.
