Job Title: ETP Operator

Location: Oragadam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Experience: 2 To 3 Years
Qualification: ITI / Diploma / Degree
Salary: 25,000 To 30,000 CTC per month

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) as per operating procedures.
• Monitor plant parameters such as pH, flow, chemical dosing and water quality.
• Handle pumps, motors, blowers, agitators, filters and other ETP equipment.
• Carry out chemical dosing and maintain required treatment parameters.
• Perform routine inspection and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
• Maintain daily ETP operation logs, checklists and production/chemical records.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe operation of the ETP area.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for equipment breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
• Follow all safety, environmental and operational procedures at the site.
• Support water and wastewater quality monitoring and sampling activities.

Candidate Profile:

• ITI / Diploma / Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental or related field.
• 2 To 3 years of hands-on experience in ETP/WTP/STP operation.
• Knowledge of ETP processes, chemical handling and basic equipment troubleshooting.
• Willing to work in shift operations.
• Candidates with experience in industrial wastewater treatment plants will be preferred.
