Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced ETL Test Engineer with strong expertise in data testing, SQL, Python, and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in validating data pipelines, testing ETL processes, and ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across source and target systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ETL and data warehouse testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Write complex SQL queries to validate data, perform reconciliation, and identify data mismatches.
• Use Python scripting to automate data validation and testing activities.
• Test data pipelines and workflows running on AWS cloud services.
• Validate data completeness, accuracy, integrity, and transformation logic.
• Identify, document, track, and report defects, and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution reports.
• Perform regression testing and support end-to-end data validation.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in ETL Testing / Data Testing.
• Hands-on expertise in SQL, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, and data reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of Python scripting for test automation and data validation.
• Experience with AWS services used in data processing, such as S3, Glue, Redshift, or Athena.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience in defect management and test documentation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in automating ETL test cases using Python.
• Knowledge of data quality testing and large-volume data validation.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test management tools.
