Job Description:

We are looking for an ETL Developer with hands-on experience in SQL, Python, and AWS cloud services to design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot data pipelines. The candidate should have experience in ETL development, data transformation, data validation, and supporting data workflows in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL workflows and data pipelines.
• Write complex SQL queries and perform data transformations using PostgreSQL.
• Work with AWS services such as S3 and AWS Glue for data processing and integration.
• Develop Python scripts for data processing, automation, and validation.
• Perform data quality checks and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot pipeline failures, and resolve data-related issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure timely data delivery and adherence to project SLAs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

Required Skills

• 4-7 years of experience in ETL development or data engineering.
• Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in PostgreSQL.
• Basic to intermediate Python programming skills.
• Hands-on experience or working exposure to AWS S3 and AWS Glue.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data integration concepts.
• Experience in data validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Good to Have

• Experience with AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, or other AWS data services.
• Knowledge of job scheduling, monitoring tools, and production support.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and SLA management.
• Exposure to the Life Sciences domain.
