ETL Automation Testing

Job Title: Lead ETL Tester or ETL Tester Location: Bangalore Experience: 8+ Years

Job Overview We are looking for a skilled ETL Automation Tester with strong expertise in Python and database testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, and building automation frameworks for ETL processes. This role requires strong technical capabilities along with excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for ETL processes using Python and Selenium.
• Perform ETL/Database testing to validate data integrity, transformation logic, and data migration.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Monitor and improve test automation frameworks for performance and scalability.
• Lead testing efforts (for senior/lead roles), including planning, execution, and reporting.
• Participate in client interactions, providing updates and handling queries effectively.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in ETL Testing / Database Testing
• Proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, data validation)
• Hands-on experience in Python for automation
• Experience with Selenium Automation
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in automation frameworks development
• Exposure to CI/CD tools and version control (Git)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus
