About this role
Estate Ranger Intern – Invergeldie
Full time
Invergeldie Estate
Not many people get the opportunity to learn how a large-scale landscape restoration project works on their own doorstep. At Invergeldie, we're just beginning the delivery of an ambitious programme of work across 11,700 acres at the head of Glen Lednock. The plans include planting 1.5 million native trees, restoring 1,300 acres of peatland, creating and improving habitats, launching new ecotourism with Oxygen Escapes and much more.
As an intern, you'll join us at this exciting early stage, becoming part of the team and getting involved in real work from the outset. You'll see how conservation, agriculture, ecology, property, infrastructure, and ecotourism come together across a working estate, while learning what it takes to deliver nature restoration at this scale.
This is an opportunity to bring your unique skills and experience to the internship, develop new ones, and build a practical understanding of how a conservation-focused estate operates. You'll be able to see the impact of your work, and your knowledge, grow throughout the internship.

This is the first step to becoming part of the team. Simply click the Apply Now button to complete our application form, and show us how awesome you are!
CV's are needed, but on their own we don't feel they tell us enough about who you really are. So, we have listed just a couple of questions to allow us to learn more about you.
2Opportunity to Shine
If your application is successful a member (or two) of the team will have an introductory call with you, to answer any initial questions you may have. After which, if successful, we will set an exciting role specific challenge for you to complete in advance of your interview. An opportunity for us to see you shine.
3Interview
We hate for this part to be too corporate and regimented. Instead, we will have a relaxed conversation to get to know one another, an opportunity to ask questions and learn more.
We recognise that this process is two way and that you will be interviewing us perhaps even more than we will be interviewing you – we promise that it won't be a dull process.
4Decision

- Genuinely curious, and up for learning something new every dayweek.
