JOB SUMMARY
Join our mission to empower India's youth with future-ready skills. We are looking for an exceptional, hands-on, and highly-qualified ESSCI Skill Development Trainer to lead our vocational training programs across three distinct high-growth sectors:
- Battery System Repair (QP Code: ELE/Q7001)
- Drone Service Technology (QP Code: ELE/Q5901)
- Solar Panel Installation (QP Code: ELE/Q5901)
This is a powerful, hybrid role designed for a "T-shaped" professionalan individual with a broad understanding of applied electronics and deep, specialist skill sets in at least one, and ideally all, of these technical domains. You will be responsible for the full training lifecycle, from conducting theoretical sessions and rigorous hands-on lab practicals, to mentoring students and evaluating their job readiness, ensuring strict adherence to ESSCI standards.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
A. ESSCI Curriculum Delivery (Theory & Practical)
- For Battery Systems (QP ELE/Q7001): Teach working principles of advanced batteries (Li-ion, lead-acid); fault-diagnosis techniques, performance testing, safety procedures for high-voltage handling, assembly/dismantling of battery packs, and repair operations.
- For Drone Technology (QP ELE/Q5901): Instruct on UAV mechanics, propulsion systems, flight controllers, telecommunication links, and regulatory frameworks. Lead practical training in drone assembly, calibration, firmware configuration, sensor testing, and diagnosing/repairing complex fault. Emphasize safe, compliant drone flight operations.
- For Solar PV Systems (QP ELE/Q5901): Facilitate training on solar panel physics, site survey techniques, designing mounting structures, panel wiring (series/parallel), inverter/charge controller integration, and battery bank setup. Conduct hands-on installation simulations and teach maintenance and fault-rectification procedures. A strong emphasis on safe working practices at heights and with high-voltage DC is non-negotiable.
B. Lab Management, Mentoring, and Assessment
- State-of-the-Art Labs: Maintain and manage all three specialist laboratories (Battery Lab, Drone Lab, Solar Lab), ensuring all equipment, tools, and training aids are in pristine condition, calibrated, and readily available for practical sessions.
- Hands-on Mentorship: Provide direct, individualized mentoring to trainees during practical sessions, guiding them from basic component recognition to complex troubleshooting.
- Rigorous Evaluations: Design and administer both continuous (e.g., quizzes, practical checks) and comprehensive (e.g., theoretical tests, final practical exams, mock viva) assessments to evaluate student performance against ESSCI competency standards. Maintain detailed, accurate records of trainee progress and performance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all training activities and safety procedures comply with ESSCI guidelines and Company-specific safety policies. Maintain all necessary documentation and records for audit purposes.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE (Crucial - Matrix-Based)
We strictly adhere to ESSCI minimum standards. A candidate must possess at least one education/experience qualification set for each domain they are expected to train. If seeking to cover all three, the candidate must cross-qualify. Teaching experience is highly preferred.
