Role Description The Essay Editor – Ivy League is a full-time, hybrid role based in Mumbai, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The role involves reviewing and editing application essays, personal statements, and supplemental materials to ensure clarity, coherence, and impact. The Essay Editor collaborates with mentors and counselors to align essays with each student's profile, goals, and target universities, particularly highly selective and Ivy League institutions. Daily responsibilities include providing detailed feedback, refining narrative structure and tone, ensuring adherence to application guidelines, and maintaining high editorial standards and deadlines. The Essay Editor also contributes to best practices for essay writing, supports content development for resources or workshops, and helps maintain consistent quality across student applications.

• Candidates should possess strong writing and editing skills, with experience in academic or admissions-focused essay review.
• Candidates should possess advanced proofreading and grammar skills, ensuring error-free and polished written content.

• Relevant experience with college admissions, especially Ivy League or other highly selective institutions, is highly beneficial.
• A bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Education, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate cultural sensitivity when working with diverse students.
