ESM ITAM Expert

Responsibilities

• Consulting customers regarding SAM project requirements
• Interaction with customers to troubleshoot and solve configuration issues
• Creating SAM technical and functional documentation as per requirements
• Supporting and training of internal SAM technical team members and customers
• External technical and project coordination with customers and SAM tool providers
• Preparation of license compliance reports for Tier 1 software vendors

• Proven researching ability

Functional / Technical Competence

• Good knowledge of Information Technology
• Strong licensing knowledge for at least 3 - 4 Tier 1 Software vendors is a must
• Solid understanding of IT environments and infrastructure (Infra and Networking)
• Knowledge of CMDBs, and Software Management tools / will be beneficial
• Understanding of Active Directory, User Management, working with Citrix, VM, Windows Server Administration etc. is a must
• Experience with other platforms such as IBM, Unix, Linux, Mac is a plus

Experience

• At least 10-15 years of proven experience in the field of SAM and IT Asset Management
• IT Asset Management and Discovery Tools experience, preferably the top ones such as Brainware (Spider), Service Now SAM Pro, Flexera, Snow, Aspera, IBM Tivoli, HP Asset Manager
• Experience interpreting licensing terms and conditions

Education / Qualifications

• Full-Time Graduate in Computer Science / Information Technology / Equivalent diploma in IT
• Excellent communication skills
• ITAM certification
• Candidates with SAM Certification is preferable
