ERP LEAD -Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics NAV as per business requirements.
• Customize and develop Tables, Pages, Codeunits, Reports, XMLPorts, and Web Services using AL and C/AL.
• Design, develop, and maintain RDLC reports using Visual Studio.
• Handle ERP implementation, configuration, migration from NAV to Business Central, and system integration activities.
• Provide technical and functional support across Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Manufacturing modules.
• Perform requirement gathering, system analysis, process flow discussions, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, fix bugs, and improve system performance.
• Configure user roles, permission sets, access controls, and security settings.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), parallel testing, validation, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Install and configure SQL Server, Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central services, and related components.
• Support end-users during live operations and resolve ERP-related queries.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for custom developments, integrations, and system configurations.
• Coordinate with clients, functional consultants, and internal teams to deliver approved requirements within defined timelines.
• Train end-users and team members on system functionalities and custom developments.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or Dynamics NAV.
• Proficiency in AL and C/AL programming languages.
• Experience in developing and customizing Tables, Pages, Codeunits, Reports, XMLPorts, and Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with RDLC report development using Visual Studio.
• Knowledge of SQL Server installation, configuration, and database management.
• Experience in ERP implementation, customization, migration, integration, and technical support.
• Understanding of Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Manufacturing business processes.
• Experience in UAT, debugging, deployment, performance optimization, and post-implementation support.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.
• Good communication and coordination skills for client interactions and user support.
• Ability to manage development, testing, implementation, and support activities independently.
• Experience in NAV-to-Business Central migration will be an added advantage.
