ROLE SPECIFICATIONS:

Position :- Research Associate

Department :- Equity Research

Location :-Mumbai

Reporting :-Head of Research


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client management:

• Client is a India-focused sell-side firm (a stockbroker)
• Meet & surpass the client expectations
• Delivery-cum-relationship management

Delivery management:

• Act as a sell-side research associate and initiate and cover the Indian stocks on behalf of the client.
• Successfully deliver outputs including equity valuation models, initiation coverage reports, news event updates, earnings updates, industry research, news & impact analysis, and model portfolio and MIS updates.
• Responsible for stock idea generation, and research coverage maintenance, attend management meetings, earnings calls and IPO meetings/calls, and do channel checks
• Deliver and achieve 100% client satisfaction
• Cross review team output to achieve client benchmarks.

Marketing, business development, organization development support

• Support on business proposals, collaterals, blogs, and samples
• Effectively contribute on calls with clients and prospects as a

• Domain Expertise
• Execute/participate in other organizational development initiatives

• Educational, experience, and skills requirements:
  
• A Graduate/Postgraduate/CFA/CA/MBA Finance & equivalent
• 3- 5 years of experience in Indian equity research, from broking firms, global banks, wealth management firms, buy-side firms, and KPOs
• Hands-on experience in delivering equity research reports/models, public and private company valuation (DCF, SOTP, RV), industry research, and M&A analysis
• Need sound financial/cash flow modeling skills, good analytical writing skills, idea generation capability, and specialization in multiple industries is desirable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Analytical, detail oriented, self-motivated
• Hands-on experience on 3rd party databases is mandatory
• Must have a working knowledge of at least one Generative AI application
