Equity Research Analyst

Job description Roles and Responsibilities · Primarily involved with: compiling, maintaining and analyzing market/financial data; performing analysis and maintaining financial models for companies under coverage; · Independently produce written contributions for publication. · Carry out internal development tasks as directed. These may include the development of analytical tools, new equity research products, and ideas. · Co-ordinate workflow with other business units to maximize synergies between the group and research efforts. · Work on financial advisory projects Desired Candidate Profile The equity research analyst will support the lead sectoral analyst in carrying out fundamental research. The equity research analyst shall perform financial analysis of listed companies, build and maintain valuation models as well as contribute to writing company-specific and thematic equity research reports. Work experience We are looking for people with 0-3 years of work experience. Authority · As directed by the Lead Analyst for equity research. · As directed by the project manager for financial advisory. Performance Indicator · Independently build models · Independently writing equity research reports · Develop sectoral understanding · Strong level of teamwork and cooperation · Quality of contribution to internal development Performance Indicator Key Skills · Logically present data and research output · Financial modelling and strong command over the English language · Excellent team player, keen learner Qualifications · Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related discipline · Familiarity with financial statement analysis and financial modelling and forecasting · Strong writing skills · Highly numeric and able to deliver effectively within tight timelines Remuneration Total remuneration (Fixed +Variable) to be between INR 6 Lacs to INR 8 Lacs per annum.
