About the Role

We are hiring for an Equity Research Analyst – Pharma role with a leading financial services firm.

The role involves conducting in-depth fundamental research on companies across the Pharmaceutical sector, developing investment insights and contributing to institutional equity research.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research on Pharmaceutical companies.
• Build and maintain financial and valuation models.
• Analyse company financials, earnings and business performance.
• Track pharma industry trends, regulatory developments and company-specific developments.
• Develop investment theses and actionable research insights.
• Prepare research reports, result updates and sector reports.
• Participate in management interactions, analyst meets and conference calls.
• Track developments across covered companies and sectors.

Candidate Profile

• 2–5 years of experience in Equity Research.
• Experience covering the Pharma sector is preferred.
• Strong fundamental research and financial modelling skills.
• Good understanding of valuation and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
• Candidates from Institutional Equity Research / Sell-Side Research backgrounds will be preferred.
