Equity Research Analyst - Chemicals & Pharma (Institutional)

• A financial services firm with a national institutional equities franchise is hiring an Equity Research Analyst for its Institutional Equities division.

Coverage:

• Indian Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals.

Key responsibilities:

• Track and analyse listed Chemicals and Pharma companies
• Conduct detailed fundamental research including financial statement analysis, business and industry assessment and company valuations
• Build and maintain integrated financial models
• Initiate coverage independently and generate investment ideas
• Publish research notes, sector updates and earnings reviews for domestic institutional clients
• Engage with company managements, channel participants and institutional investors
• We are looking for a sell-side institutional equity research background with strong Chemicals and / or Pharma sector understanding, the ability to independently initiate coverage, and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, Capital IQ and Refinitiv.
