Position: Equity Research Associate Capital Goods

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 2–3 Years

Role Overview:
We are looking for an Equity Research Associate with experience covering the Capital Goods sector. The candidate will be responsible for conducting fundamental research, building financial models, preparing research reports, and supporting investment recommendations for institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research on companies within the Capital Goods sector.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks.
• Prepare earnings previews, result updates, company notes, and sector reports.
• Track industry developments, company announcements, and key sector trends.
• Analyze financial statements and assess investment opportunities.
• Participate in management meetings, earnings calls, and industry interactions.
• Work closely with senior analysts, sales teams, and institutional clients.

Candidate Requirements:

• 2–3 years of Equity Research experience, preferably covering Capital Goods, Industrials, Engineering, Electrical Equipment, or related sectors.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Experience preparing research reports and investment recommendations.
• Good understanding of capital markets and sector dynamics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience interacting with management teams, clients, and sales teams is preferred.
• CA, CFA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualifications preferred.

Preferred Background:

• Institutional Equity Research experience.
• Candidates from reputed brokerages, AMCs, PMSs, or buy-side investment firms.
• Proven track record of sector coverage and report writing.

Designation: Research Associate / Senior Research Associate (depending on experience)
