Equity Relationship Specialist / Equity Relationship Manager

Job Overview:

As the Equity Relationship Specialist (Equity RM) at Mirae Asset Sharekhan (part of Mirae Asset Financial Group), you will be responsible for acquiring new clients, deepening relationships with existing clients (with special focus on HNIs), and driving revenue from equity broking and related products. You will play a critical role in achieving branch equity business targets through active client engagement, advisory services, trade execution support, and product promotion in a full-service broking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Acquisition & Activation: Actively acquire new clients, open and activate trading accounts, and generate revenue from new acquisitions on an ongoing basis.
• Revenue Generation: Achieve assigned targets for broking revenue from equities, futures & options, commodities, and equity-related products; generate Net Interest Income through Margin Trade Funding (MTF).
• Asset Gathering & Product Promotion: Drive asset gathering and activation of advisory products, Investiger, IPOs, ETFs, mutual funds, and other investment solutions among clients.
• Client Engagement & Advisory: Profile clients based on risk appetite, provide market updates and advice, suggest suitable equity products, execute trades online/on behalf of clients, confirm orders/trades, and ensure at least one client meeting per day.
• Service & Relationship Management: Deliver highest level of service, maintain strong client relationships, assist new investors in understanding market dynamics, and contribute to branch targets in client acquisition, revenue, and relationship enhancement.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any stream (Graduate/Post Graduate preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in capital markets, equity sales, broking, or financial advisory services.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities (oral & written); fluency in local language is an added advantage.
• Proven track record in sales target achievement and revenue generation from clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a target-driven environment.
• Client-focused mindset with excellent relationship management and advisory skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, process-oriented, and adaptable to market changes.
• Candidates should have knowledge of capital markets, equity products, and NISM certifications (with Series VIII Equity Derivatives being mandatory and Commodity/Technical Analysis preferred).
