Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Equity Research Analyst to join our Institutional Equity Research team. The candidate will be responsible for research coverage, financial modelling, valuation, investment ideas, and client-ready research across Pharma, Chemicals

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct end-to-end equity research and initiate coverage on companies.
• Build and maintain financial models and valuations using DCF, Relative Valuation & SOTP.
• Prepare quarterly result updates, research reports, industry notes, and thematic reports.
• Generate independent, fundamental research-based investment ideas.
• Track sector trends, regulatory developments, company performance, and industry dynamics.
• Interact with company management, industry participants, and institutional clients.
• Present research views to Institutional Sales, RMs, and clients.
• Support Associates in financial modelling and research report preparation.

Key Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in Indian Equity Research, preferably Sell-Side.
• Strong exposure to Pharma and Chemicals,
• Proven expertise in financial modelling, valuation and research report writing.
• Strong fundamental analysis and ability to develop independent investment views.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Strong Excel, Financial Modelling and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to manage multiple coverage stocks and work under tight deadlines.

Preferred:

• CFA Level 2/3 or CA.
• Prior experience with a broking house, wealth management platform, or independent research firm.
• Working knowledge of Bloomberg, Capitaline, ACE Equity, or similar databases.
