EPM Functional Consultant (PC Architect)

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Functional Consultant / Planning Architect. The consultant will be responsible for the functional design, configuration, implementation and support of Oracle EPM Planning solutions, working closely with business and finance stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud, PBCS/EPBCS and Planning, along with the ability to independently manage functional requirements and provide solution recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional design and configuration of Oracle EPM Planning / PBCS / EPBCS solutions.
• Gather and analyse business requirements related to planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Design and configure dimensions, hierarchies, forms, business rules, workflows and security.
• Develop functional solutions aligned with business and finance requirements.
• Support EPM integrations and data movement between Oracle EPM and other enterprise applications.
• Work with Data Management / FDMEE, EPM Automate and Smart View.
• Conduct functional testing, SIT, UAT, deployment and post-go-live support.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide appropriate solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation and test scenarios.
• Conduct or participate in client-facing workshops and requirement discussions.
• Collaborate with technical teams, architects and business stakeholders.
• Provide recommendations for improving and automating existing EPM processes.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle EPM Cloud / Hyperion Planning.
• Experience with PBCS and/or EPBCS.
• Strong functional knowledge of Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting.
• Experience in EPM application design, configuration and implementation.
• Good understanding of dimensions, hierarchies, forms, business rules and security.
• Experience with EPM integrations / Data Management.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.

Good to Have

• Experience with FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS or Narrative Reporting.
• Knowledge of Groovy scripting.
• Experience with EPM Automate and Smart View.
• Experience integrating EPM with Oracle Fusion ERP / Financials.
• Experience in EPM transformation, migration or implementation projects.
• Oracle EPM certification.
