Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Role & responsibilities

Experience: 10+ Years

Qualification: Diploma / B. Tech / B.E. Safety / Civil / Mechanical preferred or Diploma in engineer with ADIS/PDIS or a in diploma industrial safety.
Industry: Construction

Key Responsibilities:

Manage EHS activities for high-rise construction projects.

• Ensure compliance with EHS policies, statutory requirements and project safety standards.
• Experience in managing site safety team and coordination with project stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, risk assessments and toolbox talks.
• Handle safety for work at height, scaffolding, lifting & rigging, excavation, formwork, rebar and concreting.
• Implement PTW (Permit to Work) and ensure safe work practices.
• Investigate incidents/near misses and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct emergency preparedness and safety training.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and project teams.
• Maintain EHS documentation, reports, checklists and compliance records.
• Monitor PPE, housekeeping, access control and overall site safety.

Must-Have Experience

Look for candidates from:

• Preferably in high-rise residential construction projects using Mivan/aluminium formwork.
• Recognized Industrial Safety qualification.
• NEBOSH / IOSH certification, where applicable.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
