About this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Fleet and road safety: driver fitness, alcohol testing, journey management, in-yard traffic control
- WTE plant safety: permit-to-work, LOTO, confined space, hot work, working at height, boiler and electrical safety
- P&D safety: landfill and waste mass stability, tipping floor, machine guarding, leachate treatment plant
- Rollout and enforcement of Life Saving Rules with consequence management
- Contractor safety: pre-qualification, induction, supervision and performance evaluation
- Incident investigation, root-cause analysis and CAPA closure
- Statutory compliance: OSH Code, Telangana Factories Rules, BOCW, Electricity Act,
- Occupational health, emergency preparedness and fire safety
- Lead and develop site EHS officers; report regional performance to corporate
REQUIREMENTS
- B.E / B. Tech
- ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) mandatory
- 1015 years' EHS experience in manufacturing, or power plants
- Fleet / road safety management experience
- Excellent communication in English, Telugu and Hindi
- NEBOSH / IOSH – added advantage
- Lead for the zone or region with at least two years of experience
