About this role
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure complete compliance with State Pollution Control Board (SPCB), Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), MoEFCC, and statutory environmental norms.
- Consent Management: Hazardous Waste Authorizations, and Environmental Clearances.
- Waste & Resource Management: Implement waste minimization, hazardous waste disposal schedules, zero liquid discharge (ZLD) practices, and recycling programs.
- Audits & Monitoring: Conduct internal environmental impact assessments , internal ISO 14001 audits, and regular ambient air/water quality monitoring.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain statutory environmental registers, submit annual returns, and prepare environmental statements (Form V).
- Sustainability Initiatives: Lead initiatives focused on water conservation, carbon footprint reduction, and energy efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of CPCB/SPCB regulations, EPA guidelines, and statutory environmental compliance.
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 (EMS) standards and documentation.
- Knowledge of Construction hazard management and pollution monitoring tools.
