Job Summary

Orchids The International School is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Primary English Teacher to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English language instruction to primary-level students.

Key Responsibilities

* Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, engaging, and well-organized learning environment.

* Teaching Methods: Use interactive activities, games, storytelling, phonics, reading exercises, and technology to teach English.

* Lesson Planning: Prepare and deliver age-appropriate English lessons aligned with the curriculum.

* Language Development: Help students improve their reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, pronunciation, and communication skills.

* Student Assessment: Monitor students progress and provide support according to their individual learning needs.

* Parent Communication: Share regular updates about students academic progress with parents.

* Activity Organization: Organize storytelling, reading sessions, creative writing, poetry, and other language-based activities.

* Collaboration: Work with teaching assistants and other teachers to support students’ overall development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, English, or a related field; B.Ed. is preferred.

* Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.

* Passion for teaching English and nurturing young learners.

* Ability to create a creative and stimulating learning environment.

* At least one year of prior teaching experience is preferred.
