English Language Teacher (PGT)

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English language and literature to students of Classes IXXII.
• Plan and deliver engaging, structured, and effective classroom lessons.
• Develop students' language proficiency, communication skills, comprehension, writing, and critical thinking abilities.
• Assess student performance and implement appropriate strategies to improve learning outcomes.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and other academic resources.
• Mentor and guide students to achieve their academic goals.
• Maintain a positive, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment.
• Participate in academic activities, school events, and other day-to-day responsibilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students' overall development.
• Make effective use of modern teaching methodologies, XSEED curriculum, and e-learning resources.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Postgraduate degree in English or a relevant subject.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• 510 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably at the PGT level.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students from Classes IXXII.
• Sound knowledge of English language, grammar, literature, and teaching methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to drive strong academic results and student performance.
• Proactive, committed, and student-focused approach.
