Job Description

KLH University, Aziz Nagar Campus, is looking for a proactive and experienced Engineering Placement Officer to coordinate training and placement activities for B.Tech students. The candidate will be responsible for building corporate relationships, facilitating campus recruitment, identifying job opportunities, and preparing students for successful careers in the engineering and technology sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate campus placement drives, internships, and recruitment activities for B.Tech students.
• Build and maintain relationships with HR managers, corporate recruiters, IT companies, and core engineering companies.
• Identify potential recruiters and invite companies to participate in campus recruitment drives.
• Coordinate student training in aptitude, technical skills, communication, resume preparation, and interview skills.
• Organize pre-placement talks, written tests, technical interviews, and HR interviews.
• Work closely with faculty members and department placement coordinators to improve placement outcomes.
• Track student placement records, job offers, internships, and joining status.
• Maintain placement databases, recruitment reports, and employer records.
• Provide career guidance and support students throughout the recruitment process.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: MBA or Postgraduate degree. B.Tech/M.Tech candidates may also be considered.
• Experience: Relevant experience in campus placements, corporate relations, recruitment, or training and placements is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• Good knowledge of engineering-sector recruitment and campus hiring processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and placement documentation.
• Experience in an engineering college or university placement department will be an added advantage.
