Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of 15+ engineers across different levels.
• Drive architecture, design, development, and delivery of scalable backend systems.
• Provide strong technical leadership in Java, distributed systems, and system design.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to define and execute technical roadmaps.
• Drive adoption of LLMs, GenAI, RAG, AI agents, and other AI capabilities in products.
• Ensure engineering best practices around code quality, scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineering talent while building high-performing teams.

Requirements:

• 12-16 years of software engineering experience with significant engineering management experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and backend development.
• Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, APIs, scalability, and microservices.
• Experience managing 15+ engineers across multiple levels.
• Practical experience with LLMs, GenAI, RAG, AI/ML applications, or AI agents.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and people-management skills.
