About this role
Requirements:
- 8-13 years of hands-on backend engineering experience with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- 1-2 years of experience as an engineering manager or leading high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, REST APIs, and event-driven systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Experience building and scaling high-volume, mission-critical backend systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven ability to lead technical design, architecture discussions, and code reviews and mentor engineers.
- Experience working in product-based companies with Agile development practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and people leadership skills.
- Prior experience in fintech, payments, or other high-scale product companies is a strong plus.
