Engineering Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily Engineering Department operations and supervise the engineering team.
• Handle and coordinate maintenance activities related to Electrical, AC/HVAC, Carpentry, Painting, Plumbing, and MEP systems.
• Plan and monitor PPM, TPM, preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance checklists and proper record keeping.
• Supervise and allocate work to team members and ensure effective team handling.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for maintenance and AMC-related work.
• Handle guest complaints related to engineering and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with Front Office and other departments for maintenance requirements.
• Monitor engineering inventory, spare parts, tools, and consumables.
• Maintain engineering logbooks, checklists, service reports, and maintenance records.
• Have basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook/Email.
• Maintain good communication and effective coordination with all departments.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, engineering SOPs, and hotel maintenance procedures.

Required Skills

• Good technical knowledge of Electrical, AC/HVAC, Carpentry, Painting, Plumbing, and MEP systems.
• Strong team handling and leadership skills.
• Good vendor coordination and guest handling skills.
• Good complaint management and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of PPM, TPM, checklists, inventory management, and record keeping.
• Good communication and interdepartmental coordination skills.
• Ability to take responsibility and manage the department in the absence of the Chief Engineer/HOD.
