About this role
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
Preferred qualifications:
- 7 years of industry experience analyzing, extracting, and visualizing valuable insights from large and varied datasets.
- Experience conceptualizing, designing, and building high impact machine learning solutions that were integrated into production systems.
- Track record of delivering analytical recommendations that were adopted by an organization and drove real-world business impact.
- Ability to both effectively collaborate with teammates and independently drive workstreams forward and overcome any obstacles that arise.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively and concisely convey the results of your work both verbally and in short write-ups.

Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world. Trust and Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that test the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google Ads products. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed with urgency. And you take pride in knowing that every day you are working hard to promote users’ trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects/investigations and cross-functional initiatives within Google, interacting with senior stakeholders from engineering, legal, product teams and more.
