Engineer

Job Description: - Executing end to end multiple NPD projects under minimum guidance - Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for tooling and manufacturing - Conceptualize and design products that meet specific requirements and standards, Create detailed designs - Maintain and update design documentation, CAD libraries and ERP data (SAP). - Work collaboratively with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that the final product meets all expectations. - Oversee the entire project from start to finish, ensuring that it is completed on time and within budget - The preferred candidate would be from consumer goods domain - Refer manager & project team to communicate the progress on project goals and regularly seek support/facilitation for achieving those goals with project teams. - Receives general direction but exercises self-discretion as to work details, planning & execution. Willing & successful in taking moderate risks. - Ensure all set processes are followed with allowed deviation from the business units and development as well as document new processes and design practices as per business needs.

Preferred Skills: - Hands-on experience on Creo software Part, Drawings & assembly modeling. - Efficient in Concept creation, 3D parts modeling - Knowledge on tolerance stack analysis and evaluation of form, fit and function, Knowledge on GD&T - Knowledge in using Windchill PLM, data management systems & ERP (preferably SAP) systems. - Knowledge on Casting, Machining, rubber parts, sheet metal, cold forming & Plastic Injection Molded components. - Knowledge on End-to-End New product development - Hands-on exposure to prototyping, product testing, and validation methodologies, including the use of testing equipment, would be highly desirable - Demonstrated creativity and innovation mindset
