Engineer

Role & responsibilities :

Purpose: To support the dynamometer / fatigue validation and friction development for specific customer application.

Functional:

• Prepare the dynamometer/ fatigue DVP plan for team lead review
• Support validation as per the agreed customer DVP
• Support in analyzing the failure with support from CFT (ER&D core & QA/unit)
• Support in friction development for given customer application (Caliper & drum brake) and respective technical discussions (SOR, DVP, Failure analysis) with friction supplier
• Supports in preparing the SOR/RFQ feedback related to dynamometer, fatigue & friction
• To maintain project files and related QS documents to meet the audit requirements
• To prepare the product development report for respective applications as per the agreed DVP with customer
• To ensure test sample identification & traceability. Maintain stores (samples storage) properly To maintain observation sheets for the tests
• Check and ensure that instruments & Gauges used for testing are calibrated
• Plan for the test fixtures and ensure to complete the tests in Fatigue & Dyno rigs to meet the project timelines.
• Upkeep 5S for shopfloor, inspection area & samples store zone

Preferred candidate profile

Educational Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering

Experience: 2 - 5 Years, with hands-on experience in:

• In-house Testing
• Dynamometer Validation
• Friction Development
