Engineer

Purpose/Objective

To support procurement and supply chain activities for project execution by ensuring timely availability of materials, coordinating with vendors, tracking deliveries, and maintaining procurement documentation.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Assist in procurement of project-related materials, equipment, and services.
- Coordinate with engineering, project, and site teams for material requirements.
- Prepare RFQs (Request for Quotations) and obtain vendor quotations.
- Follow up with vendors for order acknowledgment, manufacturing status, and dispatch schedules.
- Track material deliveries and ensure timely availability at project sites.
- Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, and delivery documents.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for material receipt and inventory management.
- Support vendor evaluation and supplier performance monitoring.
- Prepare procurement status reports and MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
