Engineer (Transformer Testing)

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct routine, type, and special tests on power transformers up to 315 MVA and 72.5 kV class.
• Review customer requirements and prepare appropriate test plans.
• Coordinate with customers and provide technical clarifications.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and test reports.
• Support customer inspections and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Provide technical training and guidance to team members.
• Ensure the safety of testing equipment and personnel.
• Prepare, circulate, and present MIS reports.
• Support transformer testing laboratory operations

Preferred candidate profile

• 12 years of experience in transformer testing or a related electrical engineering field.
• Candidates with hands-on experience in power transformer testing will be preferred.
• Good technical knowledge, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work at the transformer testing laboratory in Rudraram, Hyderabad.
