Job Title: Trainee Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in machine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Monitor mechanical equipment and identify breakdown and maintenance issues.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Assist in installation, commissioning and alignment of machinery.
• Maintain records of machine maintenance, breakdowns and spare parts.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimize machine downtime.
• Follow safety procedures and maintenance standards.
• Support root-cause analysis of recurring machine problems.
• Assist in maintaining tools, equipment and maintenance inventory.
• Prepare basic maintenance reports and daily activity updates.
• Learn and work with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and utility systems.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S practices in the maintenance area.
