Tasks

• Design (3D, 2D, materials, ...)
• Integration (project meetings, change management, FMEA, requirements management, interface definition)
• Drawings
• create and update drawings for change management and new design
• Calculation & Simulation
• calculations performed by component engineers
• Plant & Supplier
• collaboration in terms of manufacturing process and deviations, quality and robustness

Competences & skills

• modify drawings according to instructions
• derive drawings from existing designs in CAD.
• Create and implement design concepts in CAD
• deep and comprehensive understanding of the function of synchronizer and shifting system in terms of specification, manufacturing and assembly details. Example of a work items: deviation, quality, robustness, ...
• perform calculations related to strength, fatigue, robustness and tolerance analysis

• MS-Office, Excel, PPT
• Simulation tool for strength calculation (tbd)
