Engineer - Storage Admin

Roles & responsibility:

• Administration, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting of storage and SAN switches.
• Space allocation and MIS reporting for storage.
• Support during migration processes, DR drills, and DR live exchange operations.
• Operational procedure documentation related to storage activities (SOP, POA, etc.).
• Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and management of storage devices.
• Support for planned and unplanned activities as required by NCDEX.
• Call logging, follow-up, and tracking of calls logged with vendors.
• Updating all requests and status in NCDEX's systems.
• Preparation of various documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Minutes of Meeting (MoM), Plan of Action (POA), Incident Reports, Change Requests, and IMAC documents.
• Timely closure of audit and internal assessment points.
• Support during migration processes, DR drills, and DR live exchange operations.
• Asset tagging, labeling, and inventory management.
• Capacity planning for storage devices.
• Configuration backup of all storage devices.
• Vendor coordination and management.
• Tracking of vendor SLAs.
• Process automation wherever applicable.
• Support for cloud infrastructure.
