Job Description

We are looking for a candidate who has experience in costing & estimation with strong technical and commercial exposure in the panel industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end tendering activities, cost optimization, ERP coordination, and MIS reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Enquiry Management

• Review enquiry formats (Consultant, Panel Builder, Approved Make List, etc.)
  
• Coordinate with Sales Team Leader in case of insufficient or unclear inputs
  
• Evaluate enquiries as per GO / NO-GO policy
  
• Obtain approval from Sales Head / Team Leader if the client is not listed in CML
  
• Assign enquiries to the tendering engineer for quotation after validation
  

2. Technical Clarifications

• Resolve all technical queries raised by the tendering team
  
• Coordinate with vendors / purchase team for pricing of special or missing items in ERP
  

3. Costing & Price Optimization

• Prepare panel-wise costing as per tender requirements
  
• Perform technical and commercial cost optimization with guidance from Sales Head
  
• Prepare Pre-Order Summary
  
• Compare different makes of switchgear as per approved make list in POS
  
• Highlight technical deviations, comments, and assumptions
  
• Incorporate changes suggested by Sales Head
  

4. Final Order & Post-Order Activities

• Close final order summary after receipt of project order in ERP
  
• Prepare Addition / Deletion statements post final drawing approval based on design inputs
  
• Share final Add/Delete statements with Sales Leader for further action
  

5. ERP & Price List Management

• Update price lists in ERP within 3 days of receipt
  
• Update fabrication prices in ERP as per purchase team inputs and internal discussions
  
• Coordinate with ERP team for system modifications and improvements
  

6. MIS & Reporting

• Prepare and submit monthly MIS reports
