Job Summary
Engineer/Sr. Engineer - Instrumentation
Experience: 5 - 10 Years
Industry: Chemical
Responsibilities - Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and control systems for chemical/process plants.
- Troubleshoot and resolve instrument and control system faults to minimize plant downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and plant procedures.
- Monitor and optimize process control systems for efficiency and reliability.
- Support commissioning, modification, and expansion projects related to instrumentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams for procurement and maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including instrument calibration records, maintenance logs, and technical reports.
- Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure reliable operation of instruments.
- Provide technical support and guidance to operators and junior engineers.
- Assist in instrumentation-related audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience in instrumentation for chemical/process plants.
- Strong skills in PLC and DCS systems.
- Installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instruments and control systems.
- Ensure safety compliance and adherence to statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
- Maintain documentation, reports, and calibration records.
- Support plant operations, commissioning, and project activities.
