Engineer/Sr.Engineer-EV & Hybrid Thermal System DVP and Validation

Role & responsibilities

• Hands-on testing and validation experience in the thermal domain of passenger cars or commercial automotive vehicle EV and Hybrid architectures.
• Clear understanding of vehicle thermodynamics, refrigerant loops, coolant circuits, and component-level sealing/burst test protocols.
• Familiarity with data acquisition (DAQ) hardware (e.g., Vector, Dewesoft, Campbell Scientific) and testing software (e.g., CANalyzer, CANoe) to log thermal parameters.
• Good knowledge of standard EV thermal testing protocols including fast-charging thermal stress, extreme cold/hot ambient climate chamber runs, and durability cycles.
• Able to check, interpret, and convert physical test logs into organized engineering datasets for the simulation team to run model correlations.
• Ability to handle independent component/bench-level testing rigs and assume responsibility for the precision of individual test setups.

Education Requirements:

• Mandatory for the Role: B. Tech. / B.E. (Mechanical / Automotive Engineering)
• Preferred: - Specialized academic project or elective coursework in EV Thermal Systems.
