Engineer / Senior Engineer - Power Electronics Design & Testing

Role & responsibilities

• Design and develop analog and digital power electronic circuits.
• Design and analyze DC-DC converters, inverters, and associated control circuits.
• Work with power semiconductor devices such as IGBTs, MOSFETs, SCRs, SiC, and GaN components.
• Develop signal conditioning circuits using operational amplifiers and comparators.
• Perform circuit simulation and validation using MATLAB, LTspice, PSpice, PSIM, or equivalent tools.
• Design and implement analog and digital PWM-based closed-loop control systems.
• Conduct product testing, qualification, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
• Support laboratory testing, external validation, and certification activities.
• Work closely with global engineering teams across India, Sweden, Poland, and the USA.
• Ensure designs meet DFM, DFA, DFT, and industry standards such as IEC and IPC.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in Welding Power Sources, Industrial Power Converters, UPS, EV Power Electronics, Industrial Drives, Renewable Energy Systems, or Plasma Cutting Equipment.
• Exposure to product development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Experience working with cross-functional and global engineering teams.
