Engineer Quality LMTG

The applicant should hold a Diploma or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and have a minimum 05 years of experience in Quality Control , with strong practical knowledge of fabrication, machining, and inspection processes.

Required Competencies

• Strong process knowledge of fabrication and machining , including stage-wise and final inspection activities.
• Hands-on experience in precision dimensional measurement and the use of measuring instruments.
• Sound knowledge of ASME codes , including Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) .
• Good understanding of engineering materials & its specifications.
• ASNT Level II certification in NDT techniques such as VT, UT, MT, and PT .
• Experience in preparing and reviewing Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs), inspection protocols, check sheets, and Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) requirements .
• Experience as an internal auditor for ISO 9001- Quality Management Systems .
• Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills .
• Knowledge of steam turbine and generator components.
• Knowledge of problem-solving and investigative techniques including GOF, RCA, LFF, 3H, Pareto analysis, and other quality tools .
• Ability to manage customer and third-party inspections , coordinate quality requirements, and effectively address customer concerns.
