Engineer - New Product Development (NPD)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new orthopaedic implants and surgical instruments.
• Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOM using SolidWorks/NX.
• Lead new product development from concept to production.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Regulatory, and Purchase teams.
• Conduct prototype trials, validation, and product improvements.
• Prepare engineering documents including ECN, ECR, DHF, and technical specifications.
• Support manufacturing during pilot and commercial production.

Key Skills:

SolidWorks, Siemens NX, AutoCAD, New Product Development (NPD), Product Design, Medical Devices, Orthopaedic Implants, GD&T, DFM, BOM, Prototype Development, Engineering Drawings, CNC Machining, ISO 13485, Design Validation.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• 1-3 years of experience in NPD/Product Design.
• Experience in orthopedic implants, surgical instruments, medical devices, or precision engineering is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, CNC machining, and product validation.
• Good communication, analytical, and project management skills.
