    • Collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, quality, validation, and supplier teams to develop robust, manufacturable, and cost-effective solutions.
    • Support component, engine, and field validation activities, including test planning, data analysis, and resolution of technical issues.
    • Support root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to improve product performance and reliability.
    • Assist in managing project deliverables related to quality, cost, schedule, and technical execution.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through innovation, simplification, and adoption of best engineering practices.
    • Communicate technical findings, project status, risks, and recommendations effectively within cross-functional teams.
    Qualifications/Requirements
    • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
    • Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical product design, development, validation, or related engineering roles.
    • Experience supporting component or subsystem development projects in engines, rail, automotive, heavy equipment, or similar industries
    • Good understanding of product development processes, engineering documentation, and design release procedures.
    • Knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, DFMEA, and GDT.
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, sourcing, quality, validation, and suppliers.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
    • Willingness to support testing, validation, and field issue resolution activities.
    • Ability and willingness to travel as required.
    Desired Characteristics
