Engineer - Maintenance

What You'll Do

Incumbent will be primarily responsible for resolving breakdown of test equipment which includes VFD, DAQ Panels, heavy Motors, Electrical test stands etc. Support in carrying out preventive Maintenance of Test lab equipments. Will support in identifying & arranging critical spare parts for test equipments to maintain equipment in working condition.

• Carrying out Preventive Maintenance for test lab equipments as per schedule
• Updation of Preventive Maintenance check sheets from breakdown analysis & PM abnormailities
• Carry out Preventive Maintenance activities as per schedule, capture abnormalities & ensure its closure after analysis
• Coordinate with vendor to carry out Preventive Maintenance activities as per AMC PM schedule for equipments which are under Annual Maintenance contract, ensure closure of abnormalities along with vendor
• Attend equipment breakdown & resolve it with internal / external team
• Support in performing Root Cause Analysis of breakdown, find out counter measure & ensure completion of counter measure activity
• Maintain all maintenance data in Computerised Maintenance Managment Software
• Support Lab team in finding out critical spare part requirement for each equipment
• Coordinate with vendor for planning of Annual Maintenance Contract Services
• Follow all necessary safety procedures and standard operating procedures while performing maintenance activities
• Timely Maintenance SOP updatation through Qualtrax
• Timely maintenance of MHE & overhead chain hoist
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics engineering from an accredited university/institution.
• Min. 7-10 years of relevant experience of maintenance in manufacturing or R&D (Test Lab) environment
  
  

Skills

• Good in Electrical, Electronics & Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret equipment Electrical Schematics
• Knowledge of troubleshooting high capacity VFD
• Experience in handling issues related to data aqausition system (LabView) & maintenance of computerised systems
• PLC trouble shooting
• Ability to trouble shoot Contoller Area Network ( CAN Bus) system
• Basic knowledge of NI Hardware/software based control panels
• PLC Programming experience preferred
• Good Communication skills
• Problem Solving skills ( Root Cause Analysis)
• Good on Excel, Power point & soft skills
