Engineer Electrical Utility

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain HT/LT electrical distribution systems.
• Handle transformers, HT/LT panels, switchgear, MCC, PCC, DG sets and UPS systems.
• Monitor electrical utility parameters and ensure uninterrupted power availability.
• Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of electrical utilities.
• Support installation, testing and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
• Coordinate with DISCOM, electrical contractors, OEMs and service providers.
• Monitor electrical consumption, load distribution and energy efficiency.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate timely rectification.
• Maintain electrical utility records, checklists, logbooks and maintenance reports.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory requirements.
• Support earthing, lightning protection and electrical safety inspections.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Projects, EHS and other departments.
• Support greenfield project electrical utility commissioning and plant start-up.
