Includes activities linked to conceptual, basic and detail design of various EBOP packages for Hydro Power Plant. Design activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities

• To work on EBOP packages - Transformer, GIS, Switchyard, Busduct, Distribution system, cable, grounding etc.

• Do basic and detail design of EBOP packages.

• Do offer evaluation, interaction with supplier, Bid Evaluation

• Maintain risk and opportunities in the package

• Ensure timely deliveries of Documents

• Understand and apply design processes

• Knowledge about interfaces of electrical BOP packages with each other and with other functions.

• Ensuring correct interfaces in the projects.

• Ability to work in a team, ability to quickly learn & adapt.

Required Qualifications

• Electrical Engineer BE/B.Tech with 6-8 years of experience in EBOP Hydro Power Plant Design, having a good knowledge of the EBOP packages.

Desired Characteristics

• Customer focus and committed to on time delivery.

• Good command over English - written & verbal.

• Good command on MS Office, Autocad, knowledge on ETAP, system studies and protection settings would be an added advantage.
