Pentair Global Engineering Center (GEC), Noida drives innovation and sustainable product development by collaborating with and supporting Pentair Business Units worldwide through technical excellence.
Responsibilities - Own features end-to-end from requirements and design through development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Design and develop scalable, secure backend services, REST/GraphQL APIs, and microservices on AWS.
- Integrate relational and NoSQL databases with efficient data models and queries.
- Build responsive, accessible user interfaces using React and Next.js, integrated with APIs and cloud-based authentication.
- Develop and operate applications on core AWS services, and build CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
- Configure monitoring and alerting, and troubleshoot deployment and runtime issues across the full stack.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, review peers' code, and apply cloud security and AWS Well-Architected best practices.
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- 14 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud services such as Lambda, API Gateway/AppSync, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Cognito, SQS/SNS, and CloudFront.
- Solid backend development: REST and GraphQL API design, microservices architecture, and OAuth 2.0 authentication.
- Frontend development with React and Next.js, modern CSS, and component libraries.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript across the stack, with Node.js (Express, Fastify, or NestJS).
- Database integration with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB); ORMs such as Prisma or Sequelize.
- CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or the Serverless Framework.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience designing serverless, event-driven architectures on AWS.
- Exposure to observability (CloudWatch) and code-quality gates (SonarQube, ESLint).
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Developer Associate or Solutions Architect Associate.
- Ownership mindset, self-starter, and an effective team player in cross-functional Agile teams
