Product Life Cycle Management About the Role A hands-on FlexPLM Developer to support configuration, customization, and integration of PTC FlexPLM within the merchandising operations ecosystem. The role involves working closely with merchandising, sourcing, and product development stakeholders to extend the platform and ensure seamless data flow with enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customize FlexPLM modules — line planning, BOM, costing, sourcing.
- Develop customizations using SSPs, CSPs, and JSP overrides.
- Build and maintain integrations with enterprise systems (ERP, CMS, OMS) via REST/SOAP APIs.
- Support data migration from legacy systems to FlexPLM.
- Configure workflows, lifecycles, business rules, and access controls.
- Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Support testing cycles (unit, SIT, UAT) and troubleshoot production issues.
Must-Have Skills
- 3-5 years hands-on PTC FlexPLM development (Retail PLM — not generic Windchill/Manufacturing).
- FlexPLM customization — SSPs, CSPs, JSP overrides.
- Strong Java proficiency.
- FlexPLM configuration — types, attributes, workflows, lifecycles, data models.
- Integration experience — REST/SOAP web services.
- SQL proficiency (Oracle or SQL Server).
- Retail / apparel / fashion industry exposure.
- Functional knowledge of at least 2, Line Planning, BOM, Sourcing, Costing, or Merchandising.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Data migration experience (OOTB/custom loaders, bulk loading).
- FlexPLM upgrades experience.
- JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, jQuery).
- AWS familiarity (S3, EC2, Lambda).
- Spring Boot / Microservices.
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git).
- Windchill APIs / Info*Engine.
- Agile / Scrum working experience.
