Purpose of the Role

The candidate will act as a strategic advisor helping in strengthen its presence in:

• Energy Management Systems (EMS)
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• Renewable Energy
• Green Hydrogen
• Energy Transition Programs

Nature of the Role

• Strategic and advisory in nature.
• Not a hands-on engineering delivery role.
• Expected to provide market intelligence, industry insights, and strategic direction.
• Will help define its product, technology, and business roadmap.

3. Key Responsibilities

The selected consultant will:

• Analyze global renewable energy market trends.
• Study customer demands and industry requirements.
• Review market opportunities, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Evaluate competitor offerings and strategies.
• Define technology and product roadmaps.
• Guide it's investment decisions in renewable energy technologies.
• Work closely with:
• Strategy Teams
• Sales Teams
• Marketing Teams
• Technology Teams
• Coach and mentor engineering teams.
• Support pre-sales and customer engagement activities.
• Provide insights on government regulations and industry standards.

4. Desired Candidate Profile Experience

• Preferred: 20+ years
• Consideration may be given to candidates with 15+ years if they demonstrate exceptional maturity and expertise.

6. Government & Regulatory Knowledge

Candidate should possess:

• Understanding of government agencies such as the Central Electricity Authority (CEA).
• Exposure to PSU projects.
• Experience working on government tenders, RFQs or RFPs.
• Awareness of regulatory frameworks and policy changes impacting renewable energy projects.
• Industry relationships that can help provide market intelligence.

The consultant will be expected to:

Contract Duration

• Initial duration: 3 to 6 months

Conversion Opportunity

• It is highly interested in converting the selected consultant into a full-time employee if performance meets expectations.
• Hiring Manager indicated strong leadership support for conversion within the first 90 days if the candidate proves value.
