About the Role

We are looking for a people-focused Employee Relations professional to own the employee experience across the lifecycle from onboarding to exit, excluding payroll. The role requires strong communication, active listening, sound judgement and the ability to understand concerns, identify root causes and drive meaningful resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Own employee lifecycle and grievance management, ensuring concerns are heard, addressed and closed within defined timelines.
• Act as the primary point of contact for employees and managers on Employee Relations matters, providing timely guidance and support.
• Provide clarity and connectivity to employees, helping them understand their roles, responsibilities, policies and how they contribute to the overall organisational goals.
• Listen to employee concerns, conflicts and disputes with patience; investigate objectively and use mediation and negotiation to arrive at fair and practical outcomes.
• Identify the root cause of employee issues, rather than addressing only the immediate concern, and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
• Partner with HR, Operations and Service Delivery teams to resolve employee concerns and ensure effective follow-through.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, processes and applicable employment regulations, while maintaining confidentiality and fairness.
• Drive initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct employee connects, surveys and feedback mechanisms to understand employee sentiment and identify early warning signs.
• Support employee engagement activities and initiatives that build stronger connection with the organisation.
• Track ER cases, trends, escalations and closures and provide actionable insights to HR leadership.

Preferred Experience

Experience in Employee Relations, HR Operations, Employee Engagement or HR Generalist roles. Experience in healthcare, hospitals, home healthcare, hospitality, retail or other frontline-intensive industries will be preferred.
